Birth of For The Future (FTF) Organization
The inspiration behind founding For The Future (FTF) Ghana, now For The Future (FTF) Organization, came from witnessing the struggles of underprivileged children in my community. I saw bright, talented children whose potential was being dimmed by poverty and lack of opportunity. I couldn’t just stand by—I felt a deep calling to create an organization that would provide access to education, healthcare, and a pathway to a brighter future.
What began as small outreach efforts has now evolved into a global movement. With our registration in the U.S. as a 501(c)(3) organization and expansion into Nigeria, FTF continues to break barriers and transform lives. My passion for advocacy and human rights fuels this mission every step of the way.
The Power of Collective Action
Becoming a Women Changemakers for Education (WC4E) Fellow was a pivotal moment in my journey. It connected me with like-minded women Changemakers, deepened my understanding of sustainable impact, and amplified my voice on a global scale. Most importantly, it reassured me that I am not alone—that collective action truly has the power to transform lives.
Milestones & Impact
Some of the most rewarding highlights of this journey include:
Impacting over 5,000 children through sustainable initiatives focused on holistic education, mentorship, and support.
Expanding For The Future to Nigeria, demonstrating that impact knows no borders.
Advocating on global stages such as the Africa Prosperity Dialogues and the World Bank Youth Summit.
Receiving international recognition, including being named a Top 10 finalist for the Chegg.org Global Student Prize and a Top 5 Rising Star finalist for the .ORG Impact Awards (2023)—providing a platform to share our story of positive change.
FTF Village Vision
I dream of building the FTF Village—a safe haven and multipurpose resource center where underprivileged children can learn, grow, and thrive. Additionally, as a lawyer, I aspire to influence policy changes that protect children’s rights in Ghana and beyond. Ultimately, my vision is for every child, regardless of their background, to discover their true potential and live a fulfilled, dignified life.
